Sarah Esau
Sarah is first and foremost a mother to two home-educated teens. She is married to Sean who she met in Coogee Bay in Australia, whilst they were both travelling many years ago. Sarah has over 20 years experience of working with young people both in mainstream and alternative settings. She’s a passionate advocate for consent-based, self-directed education and has published many articles about education, the more recent ones you can find on her blog: www.unschoolsketchbook.com
Sarah loves to be outdoors walking with her dog, Legend, and observing the changing seasons. She has been a volunteer for mcsuk since 2016 and likes to import the wonder she experiences when immersed in nature into her drawings. She has always loved to draw and finds a deep sense of peace when sketching at home with a backdrop of music playing and a cat purring nearby. You can view her illustrations in her etsy shop: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/SLEsauArt
